The ADMCi Commission for Research and Development

Commission

We seek a very rare form of master designer, engineer, developer or the like. Our criteria center around a person's ability to prove one's craft in order to...

Establish an artisan among a lineage of greats

Innovate a result of receiving a commission

Prove objective value of a new creation

Assess subjective reaction to the creation

Adhere to meaningful context for singular meaning in the creation and the creator

Participation

Invest yourself in a hands-on experience for meaningful understanding

We know that a 21st century standard of craftsmanship must be created for our digital age. Through ADMCi apprenticeships and partnerships, we are leading that charge.

Many of our commissions include the opportunity to share the design and innovation process directly with the master-craftsmen involved. Even where this is impossible, we produce media experiences that ensure we are sharing the process and insights revealed at a visceral level.

We are constantly seeking those who wish to contribute, learn, push boundaries, or cross-train. If you would like to participate in a current commission or support future commissions, please contact us.

Individual Involvement

If you would like to apprentice under a master-craftsman, please contact us.

The value of an on-site, multi-day experience is typically $2,000. Proceeds are applied to Foundation fundraising goals.

If you do not have the financial means for this level of participation, you may request a scholarship from us or ask a donor to make a contribution in your name.

If time or circumstance does not permit your direct involvement, please enjoy our podcasts and blog postings.

Corporate Involvement

Businesses may find value in participating at a number of levels:

  • Apprentice sponsorship for named or to-be-named participants (pending ADMCi approval) for $2,000 each.
  • Commission sponsorship for a named project (pending ADMCi approval) for $10,000 or greater.
  • Blanket sponsorship of the ADMCi for a named position on the commission panel of $50,000 or greater.
